Minister Ross must launch inquiry into Olympic ticket tout controversy - Munster
Sinn Féin Sports spokesperson Imelda Munster TD has called on Minister Shane Ross to launch an inquiry into the Olympics ticket touting controversy after two people were arrested in Rio with tickets that were allegedly allocated to the Olympic Committee of Ireland (OCI).
Speaking today Teachta Munster said;
“This controversy has the potential to damage the reputation of the OCI. It is therefore really important that Minister Shane Ross launches an inquiry to find out exactly how these tickets fell into the hands of ticket touts in Brazil.
“We need to get to the bottom of this issue and ensure that it never happens again.”
