Sinn Féin working to secure regular bus service between Derry and Dublin - McCartney
Sinn Féin's Raymond McCartney has said Sinn Féin is working north and south to ensure a first-class bus service between Derry and Dublin is maintained.
Raymond McCartney said:
"News that Bus Éireann is planning to withdraw the Derry to Dublin bus route is very concerning.
"I have been in contact on with my colleagues in the Dáil on this issue and my party colleague, Infrastructure Minister Chris Hazzard has said he will raise it directly with his southern counterpart, transport minister Shane Ross.
"Minister Hazzard has also said he will do all he can to ensure a regular bus link between Derry and Dublin.
"It is important that Derry has a regular bus link with the capital for students, for business, for tourism and for greater links across the island."
