New British Defence Minister must face up to realities of collusion in Ireland - McElduff
Sinn Féin MP Barry McElduff has said that the new British Defence Minister, Gavin Williamson MP must face up to the realities of British state killings and collusion in Ireland.
The West Tyrone MP said:
"For decades the British Government and their 'security' establishment have hidden the truth of their covert war in Ireland.
"On Tuesday 14th November, Francie Molloy MP and I will be travelling to Westminster alongside the family of Independent Councillor Patsy Kelly, murdered in 1974 having been last seen at a UDR checkpoint near the village of Trillick in Co. Tyrone."I have written to Gavin Williamson, on his first day in office, asking for a meeting to discuss the murder of Patsy Kelly. His family alongside many, many others have the right to the truth about British state murder and collusion in Ireland."
