Murphy condemns attack on Sacred Heart Parochial Hall
Sinn Féin Councillor Ryan Murphy has spoken of his disappointment at a recent attack on Sacred Heart Parochial Hall. The Hall is currently undergoing a major refurbishment.
Cllr Murphy said:
“The project to redevelop the parochial hall started less than two weeks ago which represents significant investment from Belfast City Council and Urban Villages and will see a much-needed community hub developed for the local area.
“This hall is an important asset to this North Belfast community and I know local residents will be just as upset and disappointed with news that is has been broken into with damage caused to the inside the building which will undoubtedly set this work back.
“Those responsible need to be held to account and brought to justice and I am calling on anyone who has information to take it to the PSNI.”
