Crowe extends condolences on behalf of Sinn Féin to victims of mosque attacks in New Zealand
Sinn Féin’s spokesperson on Foreign Affairs, Seán Crowe, has extended his sympathies and condolences to the families of those killed and injured in the attacks on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Deputy Crowe said:
“I am horrified at the massacre of Muslims worshiping in two mosques in New Zealand and the rising death toll.
“My thoughts are with the families of those killed and injured. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anamacha.
“I want to extend my sympathies and condolences to these families and to the people of New Zealand.
“This was reportedly a highly planned massacre carried out by extreme right wing militants. Fascism, Islamophobia, racism, xenophobia, bigotry, and sectarianism corrode society and dehumanise people. They be tackled and confronted no matter where they appear in the world.”
