Ennis welcomes re-opening of a programme to help arts organisations

Sinn Féin MLA Sinéad Ennis has welcomed the re-opening of a programme to help arts organisations cope with the impact of COVID-19.

The party’s Culture, Arts and Sport spokesperson said:

“I welcome the announcement from the Communities Minister that the Organisations Emergency Programme is to re-open.

“This will help arts organisations cope with the impact of COVID-19.

“This programme will provide much-needed support for arts organisations including festivals and community arts groups to music, circus and theatre companies as they cope with the impact of COVID-19.

“The Organisations Emergency Programme closes to applications on 17 September at 4pm. Further details, including eligibility criteria and application forms, are available on the Arts Council website.

“I would encourage all creative organisations, from every creative sector, to take advantage of this opportunity.”
