Brogan welcomes additional support for childcare settings

Sinn Fein MLA Nicola Brogan has welcomed additional support for childcare settings during the ongoing public health emergency.

The West Tyrone MLA and spokesperson on childcare said:

“The announcement by the Finance Minister of an additional six months extension of the rates holiday will help many hard-pressed childcare settings.

“Adhering to Covid-19 restrictions has been challenging for childcare providers both during periods of closure and working within safety restrictions.

“This announcement is very welcome and will help sustainability within the childcare sector going forward into next year.”
