Tá géarghá le soiléireacht faoi shrianta Covid-19 ar choláistí Gaeilge dar le Teachta Dála Shinn Féin do Dún na nGall, Pearse Doherty TD.

Dúirt an Teachta Doherty:

“Tá ráflaí ann go mbeidh srianta Covid-19 curtha ar Choláistí Gaeilge agus ranganna churtha ar líne.

“Is coláistí iad seo a bhí ag ceapadh go mbeadh na céadta mac léinn tríú leibhéal ag freastal ar chúrsaí Gaeltachta thar an Cháisc, agus tá sé ina ráfla go bhfuil siad sin á gcur ar líne anois.

“Más fíor sin, is buille é seo do Mhná Tí, do gach ceantar Gaeltachta agus do na coláistí.

“Tá gá le soiléiriú práinneach ón rialtas.”

It is essential that a State apology is now made to the families of the Stardust tragedy.

@MaryLouMcDonald has said that the apology must address the failures of governments, not just 43 years ago in the aftermath of this tragedy, but every day since then.

Following a meeting with the families of the Stardust tragedy this morning, @MaryLouMcDonald has said that "a full state apology to the families must be made now, and it must address the systematic failure over 43 years".
