Originally from Ballybrittas, Co. Laois, Patricia has lived in Monasterevin for the past 16 years with her husband Michael. She has two adult sons.
A former trade union shop steward, she represented workers in Tyna Knitwear in Monasterevin and is active in local community groups including Monasterevin/Kildangan First Responders Group, Monasterevin Community Centre, and Housing Action Kildare.
Elected to Kildare County Council in 2019 she worked closely with Sinn Féin TD Brian Stanley to tackle a range of issues faced by local people.
