Mullan welcomes Frasers Foyleside announcement

Sinn Féin MLA Karen Mullan has welcomed the announcement that Frasers department store is set to open in the city centre next year.

The Foyle MLA said:

“Today’s announcement that Frasers have brought the building occupied by Debenhams at Foyleside Shopping Centre positive news for the city.

“Up to 200 staff are set to be employed, providing a significant boost to the local community, local economy and high street.

“This has been a very difficult and challenging year for retailers, workers and their families and many have been facing an uncertain future and it is encouraging to see this development in Foyleside.”
