A Former Chairperson of Newry Mourne and Down District Council and now an MLA, Cathy works daily to improve the lives of ordinary people.

Sinn Féin has a plan to deliver £1 billion pounds of additional funding into our health service over the next three years which would recruit more nurses and doctors, fund cancer and mental health strategies and truly transform our health service.

Deirdre been involved in community and political activity all her life including local campaigns Sunshine not Skyscrapers. Deirdre prides herself on always trying to provide the best representation possible for local communities. Deirdre Hargey was a Councillor for the Botanic DEA from 2010 to December 2019.
As a proud Belfast woman, Deirdre was honoured in 2018 to take on the role of Ardmhéara of our City. In that role, she has championed a rights-based agenda, including the Irish language, marriage equality, LGBT rights, women’s rights and workers’ rights.
In December 2019, Deirdre Hargey became the MLA for South Belfast after she replaced Máirtín Ó Muilleoir who retired. She was appointed as Minister of Communities and Deirdre was to start her new role in a global pandemic. She rose to the task and immediately ensured measures were employed to protect the North’s most vulnerable people and sectors with an innovative people first approach.
As Minister she has started the first building of public housing in the North in 5 decades. She implemented legislation to protect renters from eviction and poor standards of housing. She was the minister to start building the much awaited Casement Park. has started a Job start scheme which is reskilling those who lost work during the pandemic.

Michelle O’Neill is the Vice President of Sinn Féin and MLA for the Mid Ulster Constituency since 2007. O'Neill was appointed Deputy First Minister and Joint head of Government in the North in Jan 2020.
Michelle led the party’s two election campaigns in 2017 and both Local Government and European election campaigns in 2019.

Ballybot born, Mickey Brady has championed the people of Newry all his working life. As the first project manager and worker for the Newry Welfare Rights Centre Mickey spent over 30 years fighting in the corner of the socially excluded and powerless.
First elected in 2007, Mickey has been a key part of the Sinn Féin team within the Assembly since then. In 2011 Mickey Brady successfully defended his Assembly seat. Mickey was then elected as MP for Newry & Armagh in 2015, he was then re-elected in 2017 and again in 2019.
Mickey is currently the spokesperson for welfare rights and anti-austerity.
Mickey’s dedication to the people of Newry and Armagh is demonstrated by the popular advice clinics he holds throughout the constituency and by the numbers of constituents he meets in his constituency office in Newry.
Mickey is a strong advocate of the Good Friday Agreement and is currently a member of the Good Friday Agreement implementation committee based in Leinster House Dublin. Mickey is involved in outreach programmes and working groups with Unionists and is dedicated to continued peace and reconciliation on the island of Ireland.

Senator Fintan Warfield
Fintan Warfield was first elected to the Seanad in 2016 on the Cultural and Educational Panel.
He was re-elected in 2020, nominated by the National Youth Council of Ireland.
Fintan Warfield previously served as a County Councillor for Templeogue-Terenure and as Mayor of South Dublin County Council from 2014-2015.
Fintan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television and a Postgraduate Certificate in Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship.
He is a musician and regularly performs gigs in Dublin. Fintan is also a lifelong supporter of St. Patrick’s Athletic.
